Welcome to the new website of Lambda Eta Chapter of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Incorporated. We are a national sorority of Registered Professional Nurses and nursing students. Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Incorporated was founded October 16, 1932 by Aliene C. Ewell and eleven other nurses in Washington DC at Freedman’s Hospital for two specific purposes: elevating the plane of nursing and increasing interest in the field of nursing. Lambda Eta Chapter was chartered in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas October 11, 1986. Our Motto Service for Humanity is accomplished through programs focusing on health promotion and disease prevention, leadership development, mentoring, recruitment, retention and nursing scholarships as we volunteer in our communities.
